The Atmega1280-16AU is a high performance, low power AVR 8-bit microcontroller with 128KB of In-System Programmable Flash memory. It is based on the AVR enhanced RISC architecture. The device has a wide range of features such as advanced paging, enhanced I/O and peripherals, and a JTAG interface for programming and boundary scan. This microcontroller unit also has an integrated Universal Serial Bus (USB) for direct connection to a PC.
